Description
Modern Coffee Making
When Ratio set out to design the Ratio Six, they held the quality of coffee in equal regard to the quality of the brewer itself. Ratio Six recreates the manual pour over experience with a wide shower head and flat bottom basket, evenly extracting the shallow bed of grounds for a clean flavor. One feature that sets Ratio Six apart from most other brewers is the integration of an automated bloom cycle. This feature encourages the coffee grounds to release CO2 and initiate the diffusion of soluble compounds even before the full infusion process begins, thereby unlocking the full potential of flavor extraction. In keeping with the simplicity of other coffee makers, the Ratio Six boasts a user-friendly one-touch design, seamlessly navigating through the bloom cycle, full infusion, and a ready alarm, all without the need for manual intervention. In the V2 (aka Series 2) version the carafe has been updated with a more user-friendly spout, and the reservoir has also been updated with new volumetric markings.
Quality Materials
Though a 5-year warranty may speak for itself, the Ratio Six brewer is thoughtfully constructed of only the highest quality materials including thick, precision stamped stainless steel, borosilicate glass water lines and BPA-free copolymer parts. Ratio eliminated superfluous plastic elements and fortified virtually every surface with the resilience of heavy metal, creating a luxurious tactile experience and unmatched durability. For those seeking respite from the ubiquity of flimsy plastic coffee makers, the Ratio Six is a breath of fresh air—an enduring appliance that will effortlessly withstand the trials of time.
