265,000 CYCLES “ZERO” FAILURES
iVAC has just completed testing of the improved Automated Dust Collection Switchbox SB-NA using a 6.5 peak HP shop vac
Major announcement following soon!
“WE RAN 265,000 CYCLES WITH NO FAILURE”
FUNCTIONALITY
- It removes the distraction of turning a dust collection system on and off while operating potentially dangerous power tools
- It ensures that dust and debris are collected as you cut, as opposed to being cleaned up with greater difficulty after the mess is done
- It mitigates airborne dust by trapping it while it’s being generated by the power tool
- Airborne dust is hazardous and can lead to a variety of ailments
- Uncollected dust can be a hazard as it can make surfaces like hardwoods and laminates slippery and can lead to a fall
- Tools can be notorious for sending out residual debris when they are first powered up because we tend not to clean the surface after every cut.

This is my second one. The first one lasted about 14 years and got tons of use. The most redeeming feature is the ability to put the saw and vacuum on different circuits. It’s not always necessary but with long rips or green lumber it is mandatory or my 20 amp breaker will pop.

This North American made product is far superior to the cheap knock off products from overseas. Spend the couple of extra bucks to buy a quality Vacuum Control Device! I will gladly purchase other items from this manufacturer.

I’m past the return window here. I ordered this when it was still pretty cold out and worked fine during that time. It finally got hot and I started to run this thing with a table saw and shop vac, probably the most common setup for this device. Midway through my cuts this thing shuts everything off and made me think I tripped the breaker but I realized my lights were still on. On off switch didn’t respond and the reset button on the unit didn’t work until it cooled off enough. This happened one more time and I decided to just plug in directly to the outlets like normal to finish my work. Waiting for it to cool down isn’t productive.
