This works great! Used for some compatible non-stick pans and cast iron skillets and it heats up so quickly. Took only a few seconds before I can drop a little water onto the pan and it would sizzle. Works great to keep my stove range’s surface from the cast iron pan’s bottom scratching the ceramic top

Our cooktop went and I purchased this for use while we replaced outs. It’s pretty powerful and does the job. I wish the temperatures were 1-10 as apposed to an actual temperature setting. I find that if the temp is set too high and I turn it down, it takes a while for it to react…at which point the food is either burnt or overcooked. It has done the job for us and we will certainly keep it for emergencies.

In terms of initial quality and impressions, what an awesome little cooktop. Heats up faster than I can chop an onion, even consistent heat and food cooks much faster. There is a cooling fan that is loud (like air conditioner type loud) but it needs to keep the internals cool and since I have the exhaust fan running its not a big deal, but know that it is there. Id rather appropriate cooling for longer life anyway. It cleans up much better than my radiant glass cooktop ever did which was a nice surprise. You wont be able to use your largest pots on this since the edges will stay cool (they still fit in the larger ring space but the extreme edges dont generate heat it seems), but everything else fits and works flawlessly. Would buy again without doubt.
